Your suggestions for improvement:
A boat ventilator on NauticExpo is a fitting allowing fresh air to enter the enclosed spaces of pleasure craft.
ApplicationsThese devices are primarily intended for the introduction of fresh air into boat cabins or engine compartments.
TechnologiesThere are two types of ventilator. Simple screens are used to aerate engine compartments, wells and lockers, or can be installed in sheltered bulkheads. Deck and porthole ventilators allow air to pass through while keeping water out. All are made of metal, such as aluminum and stainless steel, or plastic. Traditional vessels sometimes feature bronze models for a classic look.
Ventilators should be streamlined and low-profile to avoid fouling lines or constituting a tripping hazard during maneuvers. Both mushroom and cowl/dorade box ventilators are available. A baffle or ball float system ensures watertightness. Solar vents contain a fan powered by a mini solar panel.
Increasing the number of these small, relatively inexpensive fittings will add greatly to below-decks comfort. Ventilator design should suit that of the boat.
