ApplicationsThese vehicles are very useful in cargo ports for optimizing container storage. A single operator can handle several hundred tons of cargo daily, ensuring the proper organization of entire port zones.
TechnologiesContainer handlers consist of an enclosed, elevated driver's cabin with windows and a seat. The telescopic lift tower has arms or a similar system designed to grasp containers from the top or the sides. Some models can handle only empty containers, while others are capable of lifting several tons.
Maximum tower extension and sufficient counterweight enable some models to stack containers eight high without risk of tipping over. A gauge on the instrument panel of certain vehicles indicates precise container weight to avoid attempts to lift loads beyond their capacity. Some versions are equipped with self-diagnostic systems capable of anticipating or quickly detecting mechanical failures.
