ApplicationsBollards are found at container and passenger ship terminals, general cargo and Ro-Ro docks and all other types of port facility.
TechnologiesThe cast metal bollard is fastened to the dock with very long bolts. It can be made of steel, iron or gray iron, each with its own characteristics.
How to chooseBoth steel and iron models are strong and durable, though steel is more subject to corrosion. Gray iron is the least expensive and resists corrosion very well, but is weaker and less durable than the other materials.
