ApplicationsThese devices are essential for using only one antenna for the VHF radio, AIS transponder and FM radio. They are not required with an AIS-compatible VHF radio.
TechnologiesSplitters are on reception stand-by on all frequencies, including VHF, AIS, and FM. They detect and identify incoming signals, and cut off unused devices in a matter of milliseconds. Since AIS transponders require an active antenna, the splitter must be connected to the electrical system.
