Description Soundac PU-D20 is a two-component polyurethane compound designed for use in constrained layer applications of steel and aluminium in horizontal objects and floors. The Soundac PU-D20 viscoelastic damping layer is a specially formulated polyurethane polymer designed to produce, together with the steel construction and a steel sheet constraining layer, a final structure with very high loss factor over a wide temperature and frequency range. This dramatically reduces noise generated by vibrations in the structure Application Soundac PU-D20 is used in anti drumming of horizontal floors and reduces vibration levels of steel structures and machines. Soundac PU-D20 is well suited and easy to combine with the Soundac AS sound absorbing foams.
