It incorporates aluminum rib frames in the bow and stern to improve tracking, giving it a hull design similar to a hard-shell sit-on-top kayak. The self-bailing ports can be opened in rough conditions and closed in calm or cold conditions, making it suitable for up to class III whitewater with improved trackability on open water. It can be conveniently packed into its duffel bag, making paddling in even the most remote locations possible.
