In AISTER we have delivered a new aluminum patrol included in the project SVAP (Surveillance Nearby Waters System), operated by the Spanish Navy Infantry, to carry out missions of vigilance and protection of the waters that share the Military Arsenal of Cartagena and Navantia.
It’s an aluminium fast patrol boat, 8 meters length and 3 meters beam. Propelled by two outboard engines and equipped with a central console with hard top open. It shall have a non-floodable flotation reserve in order to ensure buoyancy in any flood condition.
Design and characteristics:
The hull, in the form of a deep V, and the deck are built in marine aluminum ensuring the safety, structural integrity, strength and durability necessary to withstand impacts against the sea due to the type of navigation, with buoucings, typical of patrols when are reaching top speeds.
Aft, the deck ends in a bath of adequate size and depth to prevent the entry of water to the rest of the deck while in bow and on the deck, the boat has a hatch cover practicable to access the inside.
In addition, this patrol has an open cabin on the sides also built in aluminum where a console is installed, located against the forward bulkhead, which has a steering position and a single seat for one person behind the console , built 100% aluminum and equipped with an electrical panel and a fixed marine VHF equipment.
