This larger version of the popular Wave Scamp class is designed to serve as a tender for a tanker operating in the Caribbean. She sits in a cradle on the deck of the mother ship and is lifted on and off by derrick to ferry supplies and crew to and from the vessel whilst she is at anchor. The boat has been lengthened and the bow has been raised to increase her carrying capacity and to improve her sea keeping abilities. She is fitted with a central steering console and four passenger seats and she has a very large working deck for cargo. She has a large diameter foam cored and rubber coated fender system to protect her but she is very robustly built to withstand the rigours of being lifted on and off the tanker and run ashore. She has a self draining deck and her hull form offers superb handling with a very stable ride making her ideally suited for a wide range of operations.
