The Okoro Field Tender is a workboat that will be based on the Okoro Field FPSO in Nigeria, her primary role is line handling however she will serve a number of other roles when called upon. This is a purpose built vessel for Afren, who were experiencing difficulties line handling with fast rescue craft, and she will withstand the rigours of the job as well as having a far more appropriate propulsion system. For her size she has a large amount of power providing 3 tonnes of bollard pull and a quick release towing hook. For protection when coming alongside, she is equipped with large diameter foam core fender all around. There is 360 degree visibility and a substantial propeller guard to prevent lines from tangling in the propellers. Okoro Field Tender has two built in fuel tanks, a 500kg electric capstan, a removable ladder to allow recovery of divers from the water and bench seating for up to 12 passengers.
