Heading and GPS Data inputs with clear LED heading display
The X950-C course recorder and heading display accepts gyro heading and also GPS data with an ASCII type output to a suitable printer.
Compatible with most gyro signals (NMEA, synchro, and stepper), and standard GPS equipment. The X905-C will display the gyro heading in a clear four-digit display with a four-bar rate of turn indicator.
The X950 Course Recorder with a printer (Click to see our ‘PRN-0001 Course Recorder Printer‘ as a suitable printer) can be used as a direct replacement for the old electro-mechanical course recorders.
In addition to acting as a course recorder, the X950-C will also function as a heading repeater. With a 4 digit digital display and a 4 bar ROT trend indication. Illumination, alignment, and also control are via a tactile three-button keypad.
A single line of data is output at selected intervals to a dot matrix printer with a serial port. Gyro heading, GPS position, course, and speed over ground and time UTC are printed in plain English. As well as paper copies, the data can simultaneously be sent to a PC for data archiving, etc.
