Control unit AquaScan

The Control Unit is the head of the AquaScan system. It has 4 input channels, so it can connect to either 4 CSE-counters, 4 CSW or 2 CSF. It is also equipped with a COM-port and an Alarm-port which are both multifunctional. The COM-port can be used e.g. to connect to a computer or for advanced digital IO functionalities. The Alarm-port can connect to an external siren, send pulse-signals and be connected to a PLC to control pumps. The built-in siren will notify the operator of any changes or errors during the counting. A memory-chip will store information about the last 16 counting operations. It runs on 100VAC to 240VAC and has built in protection against overvoltage and power surges. Should that happen though, the memory will remember the last counted number before the blackout. The combined support foot/swing handle makes it easy to position or carry the unit. The backlit display is easy to read, even in sunlight. The whole AquaScan System is easy to get started, and easy to use. After connecting a counter to each channel, just press the On/Off button in front, and the Control Unit will have the system up and running in seconds. Then it´s just a matter of entering an approx. average weight and the system is ready for counting. The Control Unit can also be fitted with a mounting frame which allows it to be panel mounted.
