CompoLite®, a surprisingly light-weight and dimensionally stable sandwich panel made of composite material. CompoLite® can be perfectly combined with a variety of decorative materials. The properties of CompoLite® are similar or better than other materials with the same purpose, but with a far lower weight, making it the efficient, sustainable alternative. The reinforcement fiber mat is 100 % embedded with polyurethane, but still located at the outer surface of the sandwich to realise optimal material characteristics in stiffness and strength. CompoLite® substrates may be finished with all surfaces commonly used in the marine and automotive interior trim sector. Any decorative material is suitable, which improves the already excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Surface Options Material without surface treatment, leaving the surface finishing process to the customer Colored UV-stable grained polyurethane surface (multiple colors, textures & soft touch effects can be applied) Scratch resistant transparent foil, creating a natural fiber look However, creating a look and feel is not enough – it has to be designed to last.
