Description

For many years these have been at the heart of Autonnic's product range. These fast and very sensitive floating-core fluxgate magnetometers have been guiding the worlds yachting and fishing fleet auto-pilots. This series of analogue modules is a low cost way to acquire fluxgate conditioning circuits for medium-volume autopilots and other robotics which need Earth's field guidance. This is a range of high-sensitivity analogue modules aimed at precision differential magnetometry. The modules are supplied with sensors with field-nulling windings to negate the Earth's field and so permit very high gains which the high signal-to-noise fluxgate technology permits. Ideal for sub-soil detection. The Autonnic range of digital output compass modules contain software to convert the output of 2-axis magnetometer, such as one of the A407X series, to heading. Software includes auto-calibration and a choice of formatting and speeds. Our patented use of a floating-core fluxgate magnetometer to also, magnetically, reveal the angel of the floating core in two axes as well as sense the Earth's field gives us an Inclinometer-Compass. The Autonnic A4027 data output contains pitch, roll and azimuth in a low-cost and robust module.
