The C-Worker 6 is a multi-role work class ASV suitable for a variety of offshore and coastal tasks. The vehicle can be used to complete tasks such as subsea positioning, surveying and environmental monitoring without the need of a ship on station or sea-bed anchoring. C-Worker 6 can integrate a variety of payloads including multi-beam, USBL, CTD and ADCP via exchangeable payload frames. The ability to integrate multiple offshore payloads is unique to C-Worker 6.
Aside from commercial roles, C-Worker 6 can be used in a military setting for applications such as security and surveillance. Above water payloads such as camera suites can be fitted to the mast.
C-Worker 6 can be launched offshore from a mothership or by a shore side crane.
The robust design incorporating an aluminium, self-righting hull makes the vehicle suitable for harsh ocean environments. C-Worker 6 has a 30 day endurance at an average speed of 4 knots and houses fully redundant power propulsion and communication systems.
The vehicle utilises an integrated navigation sensor suite comprised of colour and light cameras, an infra-red pan tilt camera and an x-band marine radar.
Custom payloads can be developed by ASV or by customers who are supplied an empty payload frame and a software interface specification.
