You can carry surfboards, kayak’s, bicycles, dive tanks, significant fuel and water stores and she’ll still deliver impressive performance. Upwind she points high, with little leeway, in the 8 to 11 knot range. Reaching she ranges between 8 and 14 knots. Put her on a wave, with a surfer at the helm, and high teens and twenties are sure to come. Carbon Cross Performance Hull We use E-glass (a Silica -based fiber) with significant carbon-fiber reinforcement in the high-load areas of our hulls and decks. Every Balance 620 is hand-laminated and vacuum-bagged with closed cell foam cores in full epoxy construction.
