Fishing boat « gillnetter » type with shelter deck fitted out for fishing during tides of 6 to 8 days in the North or South Atlantic Océan and in the Channel.
The gillnetter is equipped with « passive » fishing gears : 1 hydraulic net hauler, 1 net rack and a large capacity net park.
The boat is designed to provide maximum comfort to the crew for working in rough sea conditions.
The hull, entirely built in GRP fiberglass, is a monolithic polyester construction.
The hull is a single-chine hull marked from the front to the rear of the hull.
The bow is inclined with a semi-submerged front bulbous bow to optimize hydrodynamic performance in résistance.
A deep and axial longitudinal keel improves the navigation and reduces drift in strong winds and océan currents.
The rear arch has been designed to improve the incoming water flow towards the propeller to optimize the navigation speed.
The hull’s subdivision has been optimized to gain a good ship’s trim during navigation and fishing.
The addition of ballasts makes it easier to adjust the trim of the ship in bad weather and improves comfort on board in rough seas.
This hull is designed to:
• - an significantly lower nose dive in medium to rough seas
• - a réduction of the pitch movement in head seas
• - the improvement of rolling in beam seas
• - the improvement in comfort at sea for the crew
With the bulb, the waterline length is longer than a conventional hull.
The navigaton speed is slightly higher at equal power than with a
conventional hull.
