The Smart Mate Bilge Pump Switch with High Water Alarm (SM-SWA) combines the proven sensor technology of our BG-SWA with the ability to directly connect to the Smart Skipper™ system. The SM-SWA will give you an inside look into your bilge from anywhere. Track your pump's run time and activations. The instant your pump exceeds your set parameters an alert will be sent to connected users. It will turn the bilge pump ON when water or any liquid is detected and turn OFF when no water or liquid is detected. Pump run time is adjustable from 15-60 seconds (15 seconds factory default). Built-in splash protection to prevent false activation in rough waters - adjustable and can be disabled. Integrated High Water Alarm: If the SM-SWA continues to sense liquid after turning ON the pump it will activate the alarm output (1 Amp max). This could indicate that the bilge pump is either overwhelmed with excessive rising water or not working at all. Based upon bilge and pump size, the user can configure the alarm activation delay from 3-10 seconds (3 seconds factory default). Additionally, the SM-SWA automatically detects a faulty pump that is not drawing any current. Remotely test your pump to make sure that it's working before heading out. The internal backup battery will keep the SM-SWA connected in case of a power failure and alert you to a potential problem. The SM-SWA also comes with one alarm input to be configured how you want. For example, you might want to add an oil alarm to your bilge. Each SM-SWA comes with a mounting bracket that attaches horizontally or vertically to the bulkhead or hull with #8x0.75” 316 stainless steel screws.
