Bodopox 5500 is an epoxy resin without solvents consisting of a mixture of bisphenol A, bisphenol F resins, a smaller amount of reactive diluent and a modifying elastomer.
Bodopox 5500 is modified by a thixotropy agent effecting strongly reduced drainage tendency both at manual and injection processing.
Though thixotropic this resin features both good flow and penetration.
This resin is free of crystallisation at normal storage conditions.
Bodopox 5500 has many applications, but is primarily designed for manual processes.
In particular in cases where the thixotropic property prevents drainage.
The selection of curing agent, however, is decisive for as well the technical application features as for the mechanical and chemical properties of the finished cured product. Bodocure CA43 etc
The wide assortment of Bodocure curing agents are all well-suited curing components for Bodopox 5500
