In addition to solutions for ship alarm and control systems, including the control and monitoring of navigation lights, we offer our new LED navigation lights. They are approved by DNV (notified body no. 0098) and can be used in commercial shipping on ships with lengths of more than 50 m, ensuring that the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and the regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) are complied with.
The extremely high lifespan, the high tolerance against over- and undervoltage and the compact and light construction are only a few of the advantages of the new Böning navigation lights. The ship’s operator also benefits from the low maintenance costs and the reduction of the energy consumption by 90%*, which makes the ship’s operation more economical.
Selected seawater-resistant aluminum with hard-anodized coating, which is significantly harder and more seawater resistant than standard anodizing, stainless steel and weatherproof special borosilicate glass, which prevents the lenses from becoming opaque, complete the product properties.
* Compared to conventional navigation lights with incandescent bulbs
