D01x series is Bofor’s flush surfaced premium weathertight door with single handle operating the concealed mechanism, as well as the daily handle lock. In this system, dogs and strikers are also concealed in thick frames. The frame, door profile and plates on both sides are made of aluminum. Exterior plate is bonded to the exterior side of door frame to give an uninterrupted smooth surface finished in super yacht quality, while the interior plate is bolted on to the inner side of the door profile. Door hinges, handles and door locks are stainless steel. Neoprene gasket is positioned on the frame to seal the door tight by dogs.
