The 450 series are the first composite fins dedicated to bodysurf and body boarding. They are symmetrical and available in 3 stiffnesses. Short, they allow a very fast action but they remain powerful thanks to their composite blade. The accelerations will be frank and intense. C8 carbon is the composite that provides the best yield. To prevent the fin from slipping and to keep the maximum power, the 450 Hybrid is equipped with daggerboards on the blade. This swimfin is assembled with our custom hybrid footpocket. Open at the end, it easily evacuates water and sand. Its shape is more hydrodynamic and its very light polyurethane sole will raise the foot. This angle generated by the sole combined with that of the blade will offer an excellent alignment between the blade and the leg. This limits all unnecessary efforts to perfectly stretch the foot and finning is more effective. It improves the trim in the water and therefore the hydrodynamics. Finally, it will reduce the tension on the ankle. The bodysurf and bodyboarding fin has several functions. To facilitate the movement to overcome the currents and to pass the bar, to be able to accelerate to take a maximum of waves by being the first on the take off zone and finally to help to direct itself while surfing the wave.
