PlateBattens C-Tech have developed moth PlateBatten sets with each of the main sailmakers. The battens are optimised for strength to weight with a mixture of carbon and S-Glass. The draft positions and stiffnesses have been tuned in over time to keep up with changing rig designs. All battens have the taper designed into the laminate which is cured in our autoclave and CNC cut to width. C-Tech is the Moth batten supplier to Doyle, North and Lennon Performance sails.
