Description

When an integrated installation is not possible or on boats with outboard rudder. Varuna for boats up to 40 feet and Joshua, for larger boats. Come with the stainless steel frame needed for mounting on transom. On a scoop stern, those two models are available without the mounting frame. The horizontal axle is extended to locate the paddle past the aftermost point of the stern and the windvane tower forward, against the transom. The forward end of the axle is fastened to the transom with a U-shaped fitting, the aft end with a pair of struts or directly on a scoop stern or platform. Jade, with mounting tube cut to the angle of the transom, welded to a plate bolted to it (photos “Georgia”, “Christina Grant”) Toucana designed for mounting under a boomkin. On all these models, the control lines are led to the wheel or tiller, or through blocks fastened on a short auxiliary tiller in place of the emergency tiller.
