Sailboat emergency rudder blade

The rudder is easily attached to the airvane tower by means of spindles and spur gears. If the rudder is included with your CapHorn windvane gear, the spindles are welded to the tower. If ordered separately, they are bolted on. A flange secures the aero tower to the horizontal axis of the windvane gear. The emergency rudder is 60 x 30 cm (24‘ x 12’), providing good manoeuvrability.
