The PC-Series is an AC Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO) that combines ground fault protection and the familiar overcurrent tripping characteristics of a normal circuit breaker. The result is reliable protection against shock hazards and fires when installed near water. Based on the principles of hydraulic-magnetic design, the breaker also operates reliably when exposed to extreme hot or cold.
The PC-Series is equipped with status LED indicators to distinguish if a breaker is closed with line voltage present, whether it has opened due to leakage current or overcurrent and if it is closed with no line voltage present.
Optional features include hot/neutral reversal detection and protection; a stainless steel or zinc chromate plated carbon steel mounting plate; as well as IP66/67 panel seals to protect against salt spray, ozone, dust, water and most acids.
The PC-Series is front panel mounted and has 10-32 threaded stud terminals. It is available as a one to three pole breaker with single ELCI and features either a handle or a variety of rocker actuators.
