With a length of 174ft / 53m, "Galaxy" is the largest trimaran yacht ever built in the world. Both the exterior and interior-design of this futuristic trimaran were created by star architect Jean-Jacques Coste.
DESCRIPTION
With long and slender hulls, the trimaran design is ideal for creating high stability even in stormy weather, as well as high speed and efficiency. It provides 40% less energy consumption than a monohull yacht.
Ample space and easy access to the water for numerous water toys and a Jacuzzi are of course included, as well as an extremely high-quality interior-design.
In three luxurious suites, the owners and 4 guests will find plenty of living space. They and the yacht will be looked after in the best possible way by the 6 crew members including the captain.
2600 hp/hp MTU engines bring Galaxy to a max. speed of 28kn. With her 18 tons of fuel, she has a range of up to 2,300 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 20 knots.
The shallow draft of 1.46 metres allows Galaxy to navigate shallow waters near coasts and islands.
Galaxy was built and classified according to Bureau Veritas regulations in Europe.
The sister ship "Galaxy of Happiness" is identical in design. A 60m trimaran is in the process of being built.
