Designed by Eric Henseval Yacht Design, this sailboat, inspired by the MAQUERAUTIER (mackrel fishing boat) of the Bay of Arcachon was launched in spring 2012. Inspired by the unparalleled silhouette of the mixed canoes of the Bay, "Arcachon" is modernized technically and visually to offer better performances... Lighter displacement(1.4 t), hydraulic lifting keel, beachable, inboard electric motor. She is fast in all points of sailing and, like all our wooden composite units, totally self-draining. Mahogany strip planking construction, visible wood... Teak deck, coaming, gunwale, cockpit, interior fittings made of mahogany. Carbon mast and peak. Sitka spruce boom and bowsprit.
