INTERCEPT 50 allows interception missions up to 20 miles from the coast at a service speed of 40 knots, thanks to its two waterjets driven by two thermal engines which ensure maneuverability and reliability. INTERCEPT 50 can accommodate up to 12 shipwrecked persons in addition to the 4 crew members and ensures safe navigation even in rough seas. The polyurethane hull fender allows the INTERCEPT 50 to board controlled vessels without risk of damage and its shallow draft ensures access to shallow water areas
Moving in
INTERCEPT 50 is equipped with an ergonomic and functional cockpit, in which are integrated all the radio navigation devices necessary for the good conduct of the vessel. It is equipped with 4 Shoxs 2000 seats ensuring robustness and comfort thanks to their shock absorbing technology.
On the lower deck, there is a lounge, a kitchenette and a mess. On the bow, a rest area with 2 bunk beds and storage space is located. A bathroom with sink and sanitary facilities is located on the port side, between the kitchenette and the crew cabin
The ship's foredeck is equipped with a gun turret to ensure the safety of the crew during delicate operations. The turret is accessible from the forward cabin.
Motorization
The two thermal engines driving the waterjets allow for optimal performance in terms of speed, traction and maneuverability.
Optimized design with high performance
The hull of the INTERCEPT 50 has been designed to ensure optimal performance while reducing fuel consumption, giving the vessel a range of 550 nautical miles.
This specific hull shape positively affects the behavior of the vessel during delicate maneuvers and avoids the addition of bow thrusters.
