Platform supply vessel (PSV) offshore support vessel 50M

A sophisticated vessel built to Bureau Veritas 1 + HULL + MACHINERY + AUT/UMS + CLEAN-AIR TUG SUPPLY VESSEL UNRESTRICTED NAVIGATION. Propulsion is diesel electric, with power provided by three Caterpillar 3516B generating sets each producing l,825kW. Two l,825kW Siemens electric motors power two Schottel SRP-1515 Azimuthing thrusters with 2.6m diameter propellers housed in the steerable nozzles. Maneuvering is enhanced by a 550kW Schottel STT2 electric bow thruster. Power from the three Caterpillar l,825kW generating sets also powers onboard electrical equipment.
