Boat rudder post

CJR manufactures rudder tube assemblies designed for through hull installation to suit stock diameter from 30mm up to 180mm. MANUFACTURING Manufactured from polyester or epoxy GRP, mild steel, aluminium or bronze these are supplied fully machined and where appropriate, fully assembled with polyacetal or composite bearings and wear plate. Bearings can be water lubricated or grease lubricated by the injection point provided. Standard sized items can be supplied from stock. GRP rudder tube assemblies are manufactured in-house from marine grade GRP, designed to withstand saltwater conditions and will not delaminate. Rudder tubes will be approved by IACS if required and can also be additionally hydrostatically tested. TRANSOM HUNG HOUSING An alternative to rudder tubes for tightly packed stern areas. Rudders can be hung outside the boat at the transom inside a specifically designed housing. The housing is cast in nickel aluminium bronze, machined and assembled with bearings, seals and bolts.
