Description

The CL260 Line-Lok® guy runner is Ideal for canvas structures, tents, caravan awnings, sports nets, gazebos, bashas, shelters and radio masts and aerials. Available in 6 standard colours, plus specials for tent makers. Other sizes of Line-Lok® are shown below. Manufactured from a material that improves its performance the colder it gets, this cleat is the ideal choice for holding guylines in winter conditions. The cleat's design locks the rope so it will not slip in windy conditions yet is easy to release. You can download rigging instructions, or see the images above. Tested in winter in Greenland and summer in the Australian desert, the CL260 is suitable for 2-5mm (5/64"-3/16") guy lines in all conditions. Outdoor DLX is a blog created by a German adventurer, an outdoor enthusiast, a nature lover. He always uses the CL260 Line-Lok® cleat when he is outdoors with his tarp. By tightening a rope between trees, he attaches his tarp with a hook of each end and manage the tension with the Line-Lok® cleat. They keep the ridge tension all day and night and lock lines securely to resist being shaken loose. If you are using smaller lines, look at the CL266, ideal for ultra lightweight tents, bivis & tarps. For larger lines, see Medium Line-Lok® CL276 for canvas structures and aerial masts. Also CL282 is a great little tie-down cleat.
