The roller fairlead on the Clamcleat® CL236 allows ropes to enter the cleat from above. Ideal for sun umbrellas, shades & sun sails, where the dark grey CL236AN looks good on carbon fibre poles. Also dinghy control lines. CL236 is also used for drop-down work surfaces. Available in two finishes: - CL236 has a silver stove enamel finish for a cost effective, high quality coating. A nylon version is available for lower loads - CL203/S1. - CL236AN has a hard anodised finish to give a hard wearing surface. - A nylon version is available for lower loads - CL203/S1. - The CL236/S1 also includes a becket, for a 2:1 advantage or to hold bungee. - The CL236 is fixed to the CL827-36, which rigs in mid-air. - A bright plated finish version, CL236CS looks great on the stainless steel tubes used for sun sails and is suitable for non-marine environments. If you don't need a roller fairlead, look at the CL211 Mk1.
