Poldo 23 is a boat with an inboard diesel engine and partially decked. From the bow to the stern there is a locker under the deck, then 3 seats and steps to both sides and a sunbathing area. The stern bridge is lowered to the sea.
Structure (Version A “clinker” planking, B carvel built planking)
A) “Clinker” planking in mahogany on a frame of hot moulded oak. Floor timber and central keel in larch or mahogany. Planking treated with transparent polyurethane varnish.
B) Planking is 3 layers in carvel built planked mahogany. Frames (rib and floor keel) in mahogany and oak. Planking treated with coloured polyurethane paint..
A e B) For both versions, epoxy glue was used. Epoxy resin was utilized for the treatment of the framework and planking. Polyurethane paint was used for the painting and finishing touches. The deck is covered in marine plywood with teak planked frames in mahogany. The stern bridge is in mahogany and is enriched with teak work.
