Modern carbon spinnaker trees for sailboats and yachts are also part of the wide product range of CUL-Masts. Laminate structure and reinforcements Especially with the spinnaker pole, which is moved a lot on board and presses against the forestay in sharp courses, a high breaking strain and impact strength is of enormous importance. To achieve this, we use the ultra-modern and extremely tough Innegra fiber. This fiber, which is even lighter than carbon, tougher than aramid and does not absorb water, makes it possible to create an exclusive product in combination with carbon. The fiber direction here is mainly longitudinal, which allows for a high-strength and lightweight product. Of course, our premium product gets a UV resistant multi-layer coating. . As an alternative to our premium product, we also offer a machine-wound standard spi-tree without taper. This is manufactured with a fiber orientation of about 15 degrees. Also here we offer an optional UV resistant varnish . Fittings and lines Small and light end fittings are mounted on the tapered spinnaker boom ends, which significantly facilitate operation. A convenient and practical solution is offered by the Dyneema Hahnepot, which retracts when not in use on the spinnaker pole, with spliced inlet rubber.
