Professional submarine KSS-I

Rising leader in the world of submarines We have been at the center of history with submarines of the Korean Navy. Since we built the KSS-I submarines in the late 1980s, we have developed the KSS-II project and in August 2021, we delivered the first KSS-III Dosan Ahn Chang-ho, which was designed and built independently for the first time in Korea, demonstrating our expertise in submarine construction. We have also developed innovative technology while carrying out a number of hold maintenance projects. Thanks to this effort, we launched an overseas submarine export business based on the extensive technological expertise we have accumulated over the years, and started exporting submarine hold maintenance business to Indonesia in 2004. In 2011, we signed an agreement to build three Indonesian naval submarines and successfully delivered them in March 2021. We are executing our plans to step up as a leader in the global defense industry based on the superior know-how and technological expertise we have accumulated with strong track records in the domestic defense industry.
