The 1200 AD has no rear saloon, but a covered rear deck and an extra cabin beneath the wheel house. This trawler has a double-chine hull.
Hull
The hull is constructed of 5mm steel sheet. 4mm steel sheet has been used for the superstructure. Trusses and deck beams (at 40cm intervals) are made of T-bar. Angle bars support the floor. The keel sole is 10cm.

As standard, two built-in 130hp PERKINS engines with hydraulic reduction gearboxes are included. Intercooling with wet exhausts. The engines are operated via a single control lever.
Two engine instrument panels. Two 3-blade propellers with water lubricated stainless steel propeller shafts.
Double hydraulic steering with one teak and one stainless steel helm. Stainless steel drinking water tank with manhole (1,100 litres). Two 200A batteries. Rubber fender around the boat.
