Description

Shock Rated Pumps Pumps for installation in a shock rated environment For Navies around the world The supply of pumps for installation in a shock rated environment is frequently demanded by Navies around the world. DESMI, with its ‘in house’ shock team can offer pumps rated to the individual needs of our clients. DESMI is actively supporting Navy activities in many ways: • Special build projects for both new pumping applications and replacement programmes for obsolete equipment. • Replacement pumps during docking periods for both Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships. • Attendance on board ship by DESMI engineers to commission and oversee installation, and if required, evaluate pump and system requirements for rectification and change out. DESMI has a full understanding of Naval technical requirements and applications when it comes to pumps and systems. We can select the correct choice of materials and construction for each individual application - for example Bilge. Fire, Ballast, General Service, Cooling, Fuel and Lub Oil Transfer to name just a few. Any of these pump applications can be supplied fully shock rated, and for fully submerged operation in compartments which are vunerable to ‘action’ damage. DESMI offer a complete package from ‘request for quotation’ to ‘through life support’ for our products, from a team who are dedicated to Naval applications and requirements.
