Description

The Discovery Bluewater 50 catamaran was conceived to provide a luxury platform for world cruising. The Bluewater 50 benefits from the legendary Discovery build quality combined with the expertise of renowned designer Bill Dixon. Custom layouts below decks offer owners the freedom to design and configure personal touches to create a truly remarkable blue water catamaran. DISCOVERY 50BW The Bill Dixon design Bluewater 50 has been carefully considered to produce the performance associated with catamarans, whilst remaining easy to sail single handed over long distances. The push-button rig enables sail trimming to be controlled from the helm position by one person. The fine entry points of the hulls and powerful push-button rig make for rapid passage making with averages of 14 knots a regular occurrence on long distance cruising. Enormous deck space and living accommodation, with the option of a foredeck hot tub, really set this catamaran apart from the competition.
