FLOATING CONCRETE
PMS produces concrete floating scaffolding and reinforced concrete floating breakwater with its own unique designs. It has the possibility of dimensioning, detailing and producing according to the project demands and requirements without the dependence of knowledge based abroad. PMS uses over 10 years of R & D and application experience in its work on reinforced concrete floating systems. Most of these studies are in collaboration with science institutions such as the Middle East Technical University and Yıldız Technical University's Coastal-Port Engineering departments.
To date, production has been realized from 1.0 ton finger scaffold float block to 185.0 ton floating breakwater block as reinforced concrete floating system element. Within the scope of special purpose, it was able to design and produce reinforced concrete floating scaffolding blocks up to 1.5m width.
As a standard, PMS manufactures reinforced concrete floating scaffolding units ranging from 2.4 m to 4.0 m in width and 10.0 m to 20.0 m in length. When the on-site production condition can be achieved, the production range is up to 8.0m wide and 20.0 m long floating blocks. If requested, larger and longer blocks can be produced at the application site.
As in width and length dimensions, it is possible to produce outside of the above-water line, freeboard, 0.45-0.50-0.55 m standard.
Reinforced concrete floating breakwater production was made for various projects from 4.0m width to 8.0 m. Their length is generally 20.0 m and their total height is 2.0 m to 5.0 m. Keel height measurements and freeboard dimensions, above water line, are handled separately for each project requirement.
