Doyle DVXC is made from Carbon & Vectran and available in White or Grey. The combination of Carbon and Vectran allows for a low stretch, high performance package with excellent durability. Vectran fibre, a high modulus liquid crystal polymer, has long been an attractive yarn to use in performance cruising applications due to its almost unlimited flex life and excellent stretch resistance. Carbon is recognised in high performance composites where the ultimate performance to weight ratio is required. The load carrying fibres are strategically placed and protected from the effects of UV by the innovative opaque composite surfaces. Recognising the aesthetic trends in the market, Doyle DVXC is a 100% opaque surface layer of carefully engineered combinations of in house woven taffetas laminated to the unique 100% light blocking bias load controlling film. The opaque surface is tested with proprietary formulated UV inhibiting coatings also containing highly efficient and environmentally sound anti-mildew protection.
