MAINS : Doyle Etchells AP-2 Main feature all Epoxy RBS battens with rocket pocket adjustors top to bottom. The AP-2 main is designed for the newer stiffer mast. The top batten flies more open and as a result can be sheeted harder. It is easy to depower with mast bend and powers up when the backstay is eased without shutting down the top batten.
We now offer five jibs:
LM Radial 284
MH Radial 344
270 MHL
270 NLM-7
6.8 DCH-7
All jibs have adjustable spectra leech and foot lines as well as all radial corner reinforcing. Each jib features optional stiffer batten and velcro pocket ends for quick changes.
While we offer many jib options, it is important to pair the jibs for the venue you will sail most often.
The NLM-7 (New Light Medium) is the newest crosscut design for inboard sheeting for 4-15 knots. It is a more draft aft design and features dual luff tabs for point and power in light air. It is available in minimum weight 270 HTP or 280 HTP.
The MH Radial 344 is our proven medium heavy up-range headsail made from durable and low stretch 344 Pro Radial HTP. It is a draft forward design for firmer headstay toning in 10-30 knots. The MH Radial also has dual luff tabs to accommodate the bottom end of the wind range, as low as 8 knots. When paired with the NLM-7, you’ll have the entire wind range covered with plenty of overlap.
Our MHL (Marblehead Light) is our specialty light air jib made from minimum weight cloth with a range of 0-13 knots. The 270 MHL can be matched with a 6.8 DCH.
The DCH is a flatter jib made from strong 6.8PK and has range from 12-30 knots. All of these jibs are cut with a shorter leech to allow for in-hauling.
