The large roach for more efficient lift and greater power makes the sail more versatile across a wider range of Apparent Wind Angles. CRUISING CABLELESS SAIL With the success seen across the board with STRATIS Cableless sails over the last few years in both the racing and cruising markets, it was important to Doyle Sails to offer the benefits of this same technology to sailors looking for a more cost-effective option to yachts under 15m (50ft in length). The custom panel layout helps to emulate effects of what we see with a STRATIS Cableless sail with specifically designed yarn layouts. The STRATIS Luff Band attached to the leading edge houses the all-important load sharing technology to carry the load all the way from the tack to the head, dispersing this load back through the sail panels.
