The J/111 is J Boats’ sleek, speedy and versatile 36-footer. The J/111 was awarded SAIL's Best Boat 2011 in the Performance Boat category. Hull #1 with an inventory of Doyle sails successfully completed sea trials in Newport, RI and headed to New Zealand.
To ensure Doyle J/111 sails were fast out of the bag, easy to trim and maintain their designed shape through the wind range, Doyle utilized a computational simulation environment. Doyle J/111 molds are tested and derived from this analysis, giving actual resultant driving and heeling forces for defined wind speeds and defined AWA.
