Acoustic sandwichpanels ‘Light’ and ‘Heavy’ are composite panels with throughout okoumé plywood and a core of cork/rubber (light, 225 kg/m3), or a core of a massive rubber layer (heavy 2300 kg/m3). These are composite materials used to damp vibration before it is radiated as noise and before it is transmitted to other parts of the accomodation. Mostly used in a sandwich with plywood, but it could also be bonded with aluminum, steel, and carbon fiber.
The acoustic sandwichpanels are available in the dimensions 2480*1200mm with a thickness of 12-30 mm and is mainly used for floors and partitions. Other sizes are available on request.
