Dutch Thrustleader Marine Propulsion Basic Control System for Tunnel thrusters With Dutch Thrustleader Marine Propulsion basic tunnel thruster control system you operate and control bow thrusters and stern thrusters. The electric motor driven tunnel thruster is a configuration of a thruster unit that is powered by a frequency converter to obtain step less (0-100%) power output of the thruster. The joystick gives a proportional signal to the frequency converter, which by itself generates a frequency controlled power output to the electric motor. All individual components are connected in the central control box. The system needs a 24V stabilized power supply. The hydraulic motor driven tunnel thruster is a configuration of a thruster unit that is powered by a hydraulic power pack and a hydraulic proportional valve, to obtain step less (0-100%) power output of the thruster. The joystick gives a proportional signal to the valve actuator, which by itself generates a 0 -100% power output to the hydraulic motor. All individual components are connected in the central control box. The system has its own 24V stabilized power supply for the best performance of the electronic control signals.
