Features specific to the HD version
- Reinforced pre-filtration grid (to ensure continuous flow even with high density of waste)
- Anti-fouling paint on underwater parts
- Integrated lifting plate
- High-flow pump
Function
Floating waste and hydrocarbons collecting device designed for marinas, inland waters and industry.
How it works
A powerful pump draws in water from behind the DPOL® HD. The sucked water is forced out through perforations in the center of the DPOL® HD, just a few centimeters above the surface. This flow creates a surface current that can be observed up to several dozen meters away.
Pollutants, whether solid or liquid, naturally follow this current and end up in the appropriate net.
Collected pollutants
Plastics, hydrocarbons, algae, foam, vegetation
Maximum size of collected waste : 50 cm
Set-up
Floating pollutants generally gather in a corner where wind and current have brought them. The DPOL® HD must therefore be positioned where the pollutants naturally drift to optimize its recovery performance. As the DPOL® HD can be easily moved without any equipment, its position is not definitive
It's launched by lowering it from a dock. Then moor it with its ropes. Once in place and moored, simply connecting the DPOL® HD to the power source starts the depollution action.
The DPOL® HD can be operated with a generator if the electrical network is not accessible.
