The E3 reach new levels for safety and luxury in contemporary yacht design, built from kevlar to the demanding CE Category A (Ocean) standard, that’s as tough as a lifeboat! Life at sea is unpredictable and it is very comforting to know that your vessel is more than capable of rising to the toughest challenges and most demanding situations. Elling boats are built to keep you and your precious family out of trouble – whatever the conditions. At displacement speed of 7.5 knots fuel consumption is only 1 litre per nautical mile, giving a range of 1500 nautical miles (Rotterdam to the Azores or New York City to the Bahamas, then on to Charleston via Miami). At 16 knots and in semi displacement mode fuel consumption is 3.8 litres per nautical mile and range is 400 nautical miles. For your added peace of mind there’s also an auxiliary engine option with its own separate fuel tank, batteries, rudder, and folding prop. If you experience fuel problems or a fouled propeller you simply switch to the secondary power unit and off you go - no problem. Lower the mast at the flick of a switch and pass bridges with a 3.45 metre clearance Whether exploring the French canals, or cruising the inland waterways on the US east coast, you can therefore navigate with ease. Full double glazing, central heating and air conditioning will keep you comfortable from the tropics to the arctic circle.
