Description
Flotation is provided by thick foam blocks with closed cells which are 80cm to 1m long to provide flexibility. Curtain booms have a higher buoyancy weight ratio than Fence booms, offering a better response to waves when being towed.
These booms are quick to set-up, easy to deploy and compact in storage. All Curtain booms have a steel galvanized chain ballast protected by a flange and ASTM junctions with fast connectors.
Curtain booms can be stored on reels or rack systems
