Description

Structural furlers have been installed on racing sailboat for a long time. They are light and support mast loads. This high performance system is also fitted on ocean cruising yachts for headsails (Jib, Staysail). Available from 40′ in classic or endless line drum design. THE STK BENEFITS: ⊕ Gain in weight (around 3 times lighter than a traditional furling system) ⊕ High torque power (due to the large diameter of the low profile drum) ⊕ Maximized luff ⊕ Simple installation. Different terminals ⊕ Resistant and tested under high load ⊕ Possibility to tight up the luff thanks to a 2-to-1 block fitted under the drum ⊕ Available in classic or endless line drum design, various terminals from toggle to screwed connection with the forestay Structural furler operation : > Complete furling in / furling out of the Headsail (Solent, Staysail, Genoas) > Structural system: supports the mast load (High load textile fibers) > Two possible installations on textile forestay connected with traditional or threaded terminal (Navtec systems) Our various experiences in ocean racing enables us to propose a vast choice in top and bottom configuration and above all for the textile structural furlers : > A large panel of terminals : ball joint eye, twin anchor, twin spools, lashing soft eye terminals (optional top and bottom attachment)
