Description

Delivered by Fincantieri at the Genova Sestri shipyard "Scarlet Lady" is the first ship built for Virgin Voyages. The gross tonnage of the ship is 110.000 tons and is 278 meters long and 38 meters wide. The ship has over 1,400 cabins that can accommodate more than 2,770 passengers on board, assisted by a crew of 1,160 people to ensure Virgin's distinctive style. The quality of life on board is guaranteed by the "comfort class" certification, which attests to minimum levels of perceived noise and vibration, and by an extensive use of home automation, thanks to which guests are able to manage a wide range of functions of the cabin (air conditioning, lighting, opening and closing of curtains, music and television) through an app to be installed on their smartphone.
